World Environment Day: a community cleanup for a sustainable future

On the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, the employees of the Comeca group in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers organized a waste collection event in their community on June 13.

This initiative was supported by the technical service of the intercommunal organization of Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers as well as by the municipality itself. Grabbers and bags were provided to the employees to assist them in their task. The participants, happy and motivated, appreciated the initiative as it not only contributed to the protection of the local environment but also strengthened the bonds between colleagues around a common cause. This day was an opportunity to become aware of the importance of preserving our ecosystem and the necessity of taking concrete actions to fight against pollution and environmental degradation.

An Initiative for the Future

World Environment Day should not be a one-time action but a starting point for long-term commitments. The Comeca group aims to continue investing in environmental projects and encourages other companies and communities to do the same. The environmental challenges we face, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, require collective and ongoing mobilization.
