More than 80kg of olives collected for the Pour un Sourire d'Enfant association

Last November, Comeca had the pleasure to welcome the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant, in its premises in Saint-Mathieu-de-Treviers (34) within the framework of the operation "Olives solidaires 2021".

The aim is to collect olives in order to press them, bottle them and sell them to finance their actions.

In all, 81 kg of olives were collected on our site in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers. The association thus harvested more than two tons of olives, which produced nearly 250 liters of oil. In January, the volunteers bottled the oil.

On Sunday 6 February 2022, the Devois association organised a screening of the film "Les Pépites" (which describes the itinerary of Christian and Marie France des Pallières, founders of the association) at the Saint Exupéry primary schools in Castelnau le Lez, near Montpellier.

PSE - Languedoc et Roussillon was present on this occasion to ensure the marketing of the oil. 410 bottles were sold and 4000 € was collected during the day. Comeca is very happy to have donated its fruit and to have participated in the success of this associative project.

In addition, the founder of PSE Marie France des Pallières is touring 26 cities in France. The main objective of this tour is to perpetuate the reception of children through non-nominal sponsorship. If you want to know more and participate in this project, find all the information on the website of the association Pour un Sourire d'Enfant.
