Comeca modernised the cooling systems of military tents for a French customer who builds mobile command posts for Opex. Comeca's teams carried out all the R&D for this project, supplying two prototypes and more than 10 series assemblies.
For this project, the client's request (a large French industrial group active in technical engineering and technological services) concerned the design of a reversible Split Air/Air system, adapted to a military environment and its constraints
The development, entirely carried out by Comeca's teams, was designed in build-to-spec mode over a total period of 8 months until the delivery of two pre-series tested and qualified in Comeca's climatic test laboratory located in Saint Quentin Fallavier. The equipment underwent test cycles in one of the laboratory's climatic chambers with adjustable hydrometry in order to reproduce all the climatic conditions of our planet.
The type tests carried out confirmed the refrigeration and heating performances predicted by the R&D team in Saint Quentin Fallavier, even under extreme climatic conditions. Adjustments and commissioning were carried out on our customer's site to ensure proper integration into the customer's system.
